Upon extremely rare occurrences, Drake fans will find him lurking in the comments section on Instagram, normally for a good cause.

But for all intents and purposes of a proper chin check to a fan who pinned another ghostwriting accusation on him, Drizzy’s good for a clapback on that, too.

Honoring the sixth anniversary of his Grammy Award-winning Take Care album, Drake posted a photo of himself with the project’s original track list. When Complex reposted the photo, however, one Instagram user presumably accused Drizzy of handing off his pen to one artist he claims is responsible for writing the entire project: The Weeknd, a.k.a. Abel Tesfaye. And we all know Drizzy doesn’t play when it comes to those ghostwriting accusations.

“Abel CO WROTE on Shot For Me and Practice, obviously was featured on Crew Love and The Ride and that’s it…,” he responded to the fan. “There’s 20 songs on that album…don’t try me.”

Non-Drake fans have had a knack for dangling ghostwriting quips over Drizzy’s head since his industry friend-turned-foe and Philly emcee Meek Mill pinned the accusation on him in 2015, igniting the Drake versus Meek rap war from there on. Though the More Life artist has not quite made a direct “yes or no” statement about Meek’s specific allegation, he had time that day for the fan’s false claims.
