Exclusive: Watch Keke Palmer’s New Music Video ‘FRFR’ From Her Remarkable Visual Album ‘Big Boss’

The multi-hyphenate artist’s latest work combines two of her strongest assets, singing and acting.

In Keke Palmer's new visual album Big Boss, she examines her experiences navigating a male-dominated music industry. She also gets very personal about her struggles since breaking into stardom over 20 years ago as a child.

Released last Friday (May 12), Big Boss relays how the Illinois native was pressured to sacrifice a lot more of her being than she was comfortable with while exploring her faith, personal battles and the newfound "Big Boss" era she's moved into due to all of her internal growth.

The 10-track musical and visual project is Palmer's directorial debut and first full-length LP since releasing her debut So Uncool in 2007. It also showcases her multi-hyphenate abilities to sing, act and provide instruction behind the camera.

Today (May 18), BET exclusively brings you the visual for "FRFR" from Big Boss. It looks into Keke's morning routine as she sings about daily bossing up on her peers.

"'FRFR' is a deeply personal and empowering song for me. It represents the desire for genuine connections and the importance of trust in relationships," Palmer tells BET exclusively. "It's about being unapologetically myself and staying true to who I am. I want fans to feel the confidence and strength that comes with embracing authenticity. The song is a declaration of self-assurance and a celebration of being the boss of our own lives."
