Yung Miami Reveals She's 'Ready to Be In A Relationship & In Love Again'
The "Hot Girl Summer'' may be officially over for Yung Miami. The 29-year-old rapper took to Twitter yesterday and gave some insight into her relationship status.
"I'm ready to be in a relationship & love again!" she wrote, adding a heart emoji, and declared, "This was my last summer being outside!"
The message confounded her fans, who are used to seeing her with rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Other fans weren't so sure the rap star was being sincere.
While another reminded her that summer isn't quite over yet.
According to some reports, particularly one from Complex. Yung Miami has been in an open relationship with Diddy since 2021. Diddy said of their relationship that they "go have dates, we're friends. We go to exotic locations. We have great times." The two even attended the 2023 MET Gala together in coordinating ensembles.
“People don’t know what dating means. He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating. That’s what I mean when I say we go together. When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single,” Yung Miami said about their relationship.
The couple has faced rumors and innuendo, especially after Diddy welcomed a daughter, Love Sean Combs, with another woman, Dana Tran, in October of last year.
While the couple has said that they don't "put titles" on their relationship, they have one title that has worked out for them—musical collaborators.
Diddy recruited City Girls and Fabolous for the “Act Bad” single, which dropped on May 26. In 2022, Yung Miami also served as a feature on Diddy’s “Gotta Move On [Queens Remix]” alongside Bryson Tiller and Ashanti.
