All eyes were glued on President Barack Obama last night (Jan. 10) when he delivered his farewell address.

Prior to his speech, Obama showed off one last time why he truly is the hip-hop president, bestowing the honor to sing the national anthem to BJ the Chicago Kid.

Although it was clear that many are not ready for POTUS to leave office, with supporters in attendance even chanting "four more years," his speech was true to form for Obama, full of subtle punchlines, plenty of wisdom and a touching shout out to his wife and daughters.

As hip-hop followed along, many took to social media to express their gratitude for being able to witness Obama lead our country with such grace the past eight years.
