Drake Inducted Into Canada's Walk of Fame, Debuts New Video

Drizzy receives prestigious honor, moves closer to releasing new album.

Drake started off his big October on a good foot this weekend, getting inducted into the Walk of Fame in his native Canada and releasing a new video for his single "Headlines."
Drizzy was a recipient of the Walk of Fame's Allan Slaight Award, which is presented to a young Canadian making a positive impact in the world of arts, sports, or philanthropy. In a statement, Peter Soumalias, Founding Director of Canada’s Walk of Fame, said:
“At 24 years of age, Drake has already achieved what has taken others a lifetime to do. He is kind, smart, talented, philanthropic, and driven. He is an inspiring example to all, and we are proud to recognize him this year as our young Canadian making a positive impact.”
As part of the honor, the Young Money star received a $10,000 prize, which he donated to Dixon Hall — an organization that provides housing for low-income Toronto residents.
In other Drake news, the video for Take Care's latest single, "Headlines" debuted over the weekend on the October's Very Own blog. In it, Drizzy "toasts to his accomplishments" with his trusted crew standing in the background like a waiting army. He also hits Toronto's Rogers Centre baseball stadium, where the marquis is lit up with the words "Take Care."
The new album hits stores October 24.
