The Internet’s Heart Is Bursting Over Joe Budden’s Proposal To His Longtime Girlfriend, Cyn Santana
Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourselves, because famed rapper-turned-social commentator Joe Budden finally put his heart on line and snagged a good one.
The State of the Culture host proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Cyn Santana, last night (Dec. 19), amid the live show for his notorious, eponymous podcast. Almost five years ago, the former Slaughterhouse emcee took to the streets of Times Square to propose to his then-girlfriend, Tahiry Jose. In lieu of his substance abuse issues and constant infidelity, she didn’t trust him and turned him down.
Fast-forward to now, Budden has sobered up, is a new parent, along with Cyn, to an adorable baby boy, Lex, and has retired from hip-hop to become a media mogul and is killing the game. However, how did we get here?
Joe and Cyn were first rumored to be dating in the Summer of 2016
Yet, he slowly found himself easing out of the friendzone. Now, two years later, he popped the big question. On a recent episode of Love & Hip-Hop: NY, (soon-to-be) Mrs. Budden asked Joe if this was the best relationship he's ever been in. "Silly of me for thinking that went without question. I am more in love with you than I've ever been with anyone else," he sweetly said.
This time, he posed the same question for Cyn and asked her to prove it.
"I wanna spend this life and my next life with you," she said, beaming from ear-to-ear. Then, Cyn stated, "put that f**king ring on me; waited long enough for this."

The new mom is "on a high," and flaunted her gorgeous ring while singing Beyoncé's "Love On Top"
Joe's reaction sums it up perfectly. "She. said. Yes. Thank you God."
All love found. Congrats to the lovely couple!
