Lionel Richie's daughter, Sofia Richie, recently learned the gender of the bun in her oven.

Days after Sofia announced she was expecting, she shared a sweet post to social media highlighting the moment she and her husband Elliot Grainge discovered they were expecting a baby girl, as reported by E! News.

In a post on TikTok, the soon-to-be-parents are captured in their backyard with their pet Golden Retriever as Sofia does a countdown before Grainge fires a cannon into the air. Seconds later, pink smoke and confetti emerge as Sofia erupts in joy, running then flopping in the grass. 

"Oh my god, I'm so excited!" she could be heard saying as her hubby's jaw hit the floor.

"Sorry to all my neighbors for the horrifying scream 😅," she captioned the post on the app, which has been liked over three million times.

The couple embraced each other with a hug as their dogs looked on.

In April 2023, the duo tied the knot in the South of France after they announced their engagement one year before.
