After announcing she would be running for Congress in California's 44th district, Stacey Dash has been viewed as a someone trying to follow in the footsteps of Donald Trump. Now, the mayor of Compton is ready to stop Dash in her tracks by throwing her own hat into the ring.
According to a report by TMZ, Compton Mayor Aja Brown is planning to announce on Thursday that she will also be running for Congress in the 44th District. This district includes her own city of Compton as well as Watts, San Pedro and North Long Beach.

When Dash first announced her run, people were in shock she thought she'd win an area with a heavy Black population
