Alas, femcee hip-hop!

After months of a rumored hatchet between femcee stars Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, the ladies have squashed down on the beef rumors with a trio of Met Gala photo ops.  

The ladies were spotted and photographed together in their stunning 2018 ensembles for the annual star-studded fundraising event. In the picture, Cardi, who made her grand entrance with fashion guru Jeremy Scott on her arm, and Nicki are in the midst of what appears to be a cordial conversation. They’re also close enough to each other to presume that the conversation went well, especially with Nicki’s hand gently placed above Bardi’s baby bump.

The photo is particularly iconic considering the tension that followed the femcees' "MotorSport" controversy, which The Pinkprint rapper tearfully recollected in a recent interview. Thankfully, they seem to have put that behind them now.

Other photos of their exchange shows a face from Cardi best reflective of her bubbly personality as she speaks with Nicki, while another shows the ladies posed up for a selfie flick. The Met Gala truce between the ladies should be just enough for the Nicki’s Barbs Army and Cardi’s Bardi Gang to shake hands, too. And hopefully, they will, but not before coming up with a few theories of their own about how their leaders' Met Gala run-in really went down.
