Dr. Conrad Murray Exposed in Never Before Seen Video
He was convicted for the manslaughter of Michael Jackson, but in a just-released video, Dr. Conrad Murray portrays himself as one of the late pop legend's closest allies rather than the addiction-enabling "personal pharmacy" prosecutors showed him to be in court.
In the video, which had been previously suppressed by Murray's defense lawyers but was obtained by TMZ, Murray says he had a "true friendship" with Michael and criticizes members of the media for harping on his "hidden skeletons."
"The next time you look in the mirror, before passing judgment or condemning someone, take a good look at yourself, and if you're not 100 percent sure that when scrutinized no faults can be found, then you may have earned that right to criticize," he says.
In the clip, which was filmed just days after Jackson's death, Murray tells an apparent lie when he claims not to have known about Michael's addiction to prescription drugs in all the time he spent treating him. During his trial, it was revealed that Murray was well aware of Michael's addiction, as he himself claimed that he had attempted to ween the singer off Propofol, the anesthetic that caused his death.
