Sherri Shepherd Settles Divorce With Lamar Sally
Sherri Shepherd can finally move on with her life. After months of animosity, the former The View co-host has officially settled her divorce with ex-husband Lamar Sally. It all comes with a price, however, and Shepherd will have to shell out a few thousand dollars a month for her child, born via a surrogate.
According to TMZ, Shepherd and Sally came to an agreement that the former talk show host will cough up $4,100 a month in child support. When the child turns 13, the monthly amount will be kicked up to $4,600.
The settlement, however, doesn't negate Shepherd's claims that Sally tricked her into marriage. If the court finds any truth in her allegations, she will no longer be required to pay child support to Sally.
That's not all. TMZ also claims that the former couple has embryos in storage, and Shepherd wants them gone. If Sally goes against her wishes and decides to keep them, she will not have any child support obligations for any children that are born as a result.
