Year of Love: Celebrity Couples Who Tied the Knot In 2023

This year will always be special for these newlyweds.

There was no shortage of couples tying the knot this year, from acclaimed actors to adored athletes and even high-class heirs; there was no lots of love and romance as some of our favorite couples made their vows to travel down a magical road to happily ever after.

Here's a list of who said "I do."

  • Pinky Cole and Derrick Hayes

    The Slutty Vegan founder and CEO married the Big Dave's Cheesesteaks founder in front of 300 family and friends in Atlanta, GA, on June 10. The couple had their third child in December.

  • Blair Underwood and Josie Hart

    On June 24, Blair Underwood exchanged vows with his long-time best friend of 43 years during a Caribbean wedding in the Dominican Republic that Blair helped coordinate. His bride told PEOPLE, "It was surreal and magical. His vows, to hear him say the words he said to me for our forever, was incredible."

    Emmy-award-winning journalist Kelley Carter, married her hubby in a "Vintage Black Hollywood glam" themed wedding. Their July 14th ceremony was attended by Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, who acted as a bridesmaid, along with Deborah Joy Winans, while long-time friend and journalist Jemele Hill was the matron of honor.

    Derrick Rose and Alaina Anderson declared their forever love for each other in a luxurious ceremony in Beverly Hills on September 7 that appeared to be officiated by Rose's former Chicago Bulls teammate, Joakim Noah.

    In November, "Queen Sugar" actor Omar Dorsey married filmmaker Crystle Roberson in front of 80 of their closest family and friends at Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, Calif.

    After a year of engagement, PJ Washington and Alisah Chanel exchanged vows in October in a glamorous ceremony attended by their loved ones. Chanel shared a carousel of snaps from their big day on Instagram, and all we can say is, “Wow!”

    During NFL Bye Week, Miami Dolphins player Tyreek Hill and his longtime fiancée, Keeta Vaccaro, made it official. A day after their nuptials on Nov.9, the South Florida SunSentinel reported that he confirmed the news in the team’s locker room following practice before Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium. 

    “I did get married to my longtime fiancée. It was about time, man. Feel me?" the wide receiver said.

    Jean Elie announced that he and longtime girlfriend Randall Bailey met at the altar on September 24 in a charming ceremony surrounded by 110 friends and family in Braga, Portugal, as reported by Essence

    “Our wedding far and away exceeded all my expectations,” Bailey told the publication. Elie said, “My heart was filled with joy as I watched our family and friends blend together as if they had known each other for years.”
