'Long Live Chinx' Will Be a Documentary Honoring the Fallen Rapper
This week, Chinx’s Welcome to JFK, his first posthumous album, will be coming out. Just three months after his funeral, the fallen Coke Boy rapper has left his fans with a complete project that’s set to include features from Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, Nipsey Hussle, Lil Durk, Stack Bundles, French Montana and Zack.
Earlier this year, BET attended the listening session where we previewed a few of the album’s tracks and it’s a promising effort from an MC whose life was taken too soon. In honoring Chinx’s legacy, Revolt TV is putting together a documentary titled Long Live Chinx. The trailer features interviews with key people in Chinx’s life, as well as his frequent collaborators like French and Arkansas newcomer MeetSims.
Since his passing, Chinx has released several songs to keep his name alive. Recently, he's put out the video to "On Your Body" and collaborated with Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel for "3 Shots."
You can watch the trailer below, and tune in when the documentary airs at 10:30 PM EST on Wednesday.
