Over the past decade, Gotham Comedy Club has been bringing in comedians such as Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black and Colin Quinn, to name a few. New York Comedy Club is located in the Gramercy neighborhood. Since 1989, it has been a hit comedy club in Manhattan. The classic brick wall behind the stage, candlelit showroom and traditional drink menu all pay tribute to its legacy. Under new ownership since 2014, NYCC still features the best comedians in the city seven nights a week, plus an updated front bar with pre- and post-show drink specials and a whole new fun, anything-can-happen vibe.

The Stand was named New York magazine's "Best Comedy Club" for a reason. They pride themselves on putting the very best talent on stage each and every night. They often feature current comedians such as Dane Cook, Bill Burr, Artie Lange, Gilbert Gottfried, Colin Quinn, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Nick DiPaolo and more. The Comedy Cellar uses a showcase format as opposed to a headline format like most clubs. A show consists of between five and seven comics performing sets of roughly 20 minutes each. Performers have included some of the greats: Dave Chappelle, Jim Norton, Marc Maron and Darrell Hammond just to name a few. The New York Post regularly rates the Cellar as the best comedy club in New York.

This modest comedy club presents young and seasoned performers plus occasional big names. Past performers at Stand-Up New York include: Louis C.K., Lewis Black, Aziz Ansari, Amy Schumer and more. Actor Zach Galifianakis once worked as a night manager at Stand Up NY.
