Odd Future Launches 24-Hour Radio Station
Odd Future is living up to its name again, doing things in its own unique way with the launch of its digital radio takeover.
Tyler, Taco, Earl and the crew kicked off the commercial-free Odd Future Radio station on Thursday (Sept. 11) night via DJ Skee’s Dashradio.com. “Most radio sucks so we’re doing it ourselves. We play and do what we want,” says the group of its latest venture.
In addition to being an all out Odd Future fest, the station will also feature a weekly show and individual musical selections from the entire camp. Listeners can expect to hear anything from RZA to Kendrick Lamar and Eminem.
In other OF news, crew frontman Tyler, the Creator took to Instagram to announce his six-city tour just one day before they announced the station. He posted a list of stops and dates along with the caption, “6 Shows. On sale Friday. IDK When I’m doing this again. Come F—k.”
If fans can’t make the show, which kicks off Dec. 12 in San Antonio, they can get their OFWGKTA fix on the virtual airwaves via the Dash app for iPhone and Android.
