From the looks of it, TGT has gone the way of too many groups before them. The trio, made up of Ginuwine, Tyrese and Tank, abruptly split this week. It's probably too early to tell if it’ll be permanent or not, but one group member is catching the blame while another is hopeful for a reconciliation.

Ginuwine left the group just as they began work on their next album, TMZ reports. Group sources say it was a business decision on G’s part, no explicit details were given as to why he left. 

With one man out, Tank and Tyrese are in need of a new group member and the clock is ticking. TGT still owes Atlantic Records two more albums.

Tyrese announced their break up via Instagram Thursday without informing Ginuwine first. “Wow really to post personal Bizns [sic] s**t is a p***y move n***a,” Ginuwine wrote on Tyrese’s Instagram page. “Why would you do that and since you wanna do that keep it going and we will expose it all DIVA lets get it!!!!!! be a f**king man not a lil boy talk to me call don’t try and manipulate the situations publicly wack wack wack of you. Exactly why it is the way it is.” 

TGT’s first song, a remix of Tank’s “Please Don’t Go,” came out eight years ago. Their debut, Three Kings, was released in 2013.
