Terrence Howard Takes An 'L' In Spousal Support War With Ex-Wife

The actor is ordered to cough up the cash.

Terrence Howard just suffered a loss in his extensive spousal support war with his ex-wife, and he is now required to pay up.

According to TMZMichelle Ghent Howard came out victorious in appeals court, getting a ruling on the case overturned.

Just two years ago, the Empire star managed to convince the court that he was forced to sign their marital settlement under duress, claiming his ex-wife was threatening to leak nude photos and videos as blackmail. He was paying her $5,800 per month at the time.

Michelle fired back by appealing the ruling and seemed to get the judge on her side, who came to conclusion that the actor was not under duress since too much time had passed between the alleged threat and his signing of the agreement. The court, instead, arose to the sentiment that Terrence had "buyer's remorse" and had "other options besides signing on the dotted lines."

The court gave an example of this claim stating that he could have just gone to the police if he suspected that Michelle was blackmailing him for her own personal gain.

Since Michelle came out victorious, this means their marriage settlement will be reinstated and Terrence will be required to resume paying her spousal support at an amount that has not yet been disclosed.
