Lil B Takes Credit for Rockets Firing Kevin McHale
The Based God curse apparently affects coaches, too.
After putting the hex on NBA superstars such as Kevin Durant and James Harden, Lil B took credit for the Houston Rockets firing coach Kevin McHale on Wednesday morning.
The rapper explained, via his Twitter account, that the firing of McHale came as a punishment for the coach not reprimanding Rockets star Harden over his cooking gesture, which the MC claims is a rip off of his own cooking dance.
Laugh if you want, but the zany rapper has a growing body count, considering Durant fell victim to injuries and only played 27 games last season after B refused to lift the curse on him. Harden choked in a decisive Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the eventual NBA champion Golden State Warriors, going 2-of-11 shooting and committing 12 turnovers.
Before this 2015-16 NBA season even started, B made it clear that he was putting the curse back on Harden.
We guess McHale is one of the casualties, getting the axe after Houston got off to a poor 4-7 start this year.
Assistant coach J.B. Bickerstaff will serve as the Rockets interim coach.
