Bruno Mars And Cardi B's 'Finesse' Video Brought 'In Living Color' Back And The Internet Is Floored
Bronx femcee starlet Cardi B and master funkateer Bruno Mars thought up a master plan fittingly titled “Finesse (Remix)” in only the first week of the new year: take everybody back 28 years for 2018.
Giving fans the time machine treatment, the two went full ‘90s flare with a multi-colored, Running Man-bopping, Fly Girl-grooving sketch comedy snapback to a funner time in television: the classic Wayans brothers television hit, In Living Color. The “Bodak Yellow” star, donning classic oversized gold hoops and a hat twisted to the back, spits the first verse while Bruno gets groovy in his dance floor element. From the opening scene’s pastel-colored painting blocks to the grainy, smoky image resolution of standard TV’s past, Mr. 24K Magic and Bartier Cardi absolutely nailed this one.
And in the process, they’ve hilariously nailed fans to the floor in sheer amazement at the surprise collaboration, too.
