50 Cent And Jim Jones Exchange Words Amid Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Prison Release
On Wednesday (April 1), news broke that Tekashi 6ix9ine might be released from prison “any day now” amid the worsening coronavirus pandemic.
It wasn’t long before Instagram’s king of trolling 50 Cent used the opportunity to get in a jab at Dipset member, Jim Jones. As you may remember, the hip-hop legend’s name became entangled in Tekashi’s racketeering trial after the Brooklyn rapper testified that Jim was a member of the Nine Trey Bloods gang faction. Furthermore, a phone call between Jim and another Nine Trey Bloods member, Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones, was played during the trial and later leaked online. In the phone call, the “We Fly High” rapper can be heard telling Mel Murda to “violate” Tekashi for going against the gang, per HotNewHipHop.
At the time, Fifty teased Jim on social media that he was a federal informant, and revisited the allegations again on Wednesday (April 1).
“Now individual 1, ya gonna have to tell everybody how you were on tape in court on the phone coaching Mel to super duper violate [shorty] but the Feds never picked you up and the charges were Rico & conspiracy confidential informant,” Fif proposed. The caption was posted along with a video of Tekashi celebrating his release for a previous unrelated case.
April Fools Day or not, Capo didn’t find the post funny. He took to Instagram where he fired back that Fif is trying to tarnish his name.
“Melly said he doin’ super fine. You have to watch out for these so call real ones thats [rooting] for rats to come home and wanna see real ni***s go to jail,” Jim wrote. “Any n***a [that] needs to try [and] tarnish another man’s name for personal gain has to [be] a hoe. Why else would he have my dick so far down his throat lol. Pause.”
Afterward, Fif came back at him in a second post.
“I learn something new everyday. See, I looked out for this guy when he needed help. I made a call to get him his deal but people forget,” the Queens rapper claimed. “Being a good judge of character is detrimental to success and people change so you have to watch them. If you stay on point, you will peep the change.”
Jim hasn’t responded to Fif’s second post, but we can imagine it will only be a matter of time. See their exchange below:
