Mayhem apparently broke out at Diddy’s residence Wednesday (August 17) as police responded to what is being reported as a “heated breakup argument” between the music mogul and girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

According to TMZ, Ventura informed Diddy that she wanted to end their relationship, which angered him. This led to him reportedly going through her phone and jumping out of a car with it still in hand.

Upon arrival at their home — sans Diddy — Cassie called her mother and explained what went down. That’s when her mom called law enforcement, who responded before Diddy returned to their Los Angeles home. Diddy apparently returned Cassie’s phone to her but was written up on a domestic violence incident report.

This isn’t the first time Diddy and Cassie’s relationship has been on the rocks. The couple are known for their on-and-off again relationship. Back in December, Cassie appeared to dump her longtime boyfriend after he was “pictured with a woman at a number of events.” It seemed though that everything was worked out shortly after as both have since posted Instagram pics featuring both of them happily together.
