Ray Allen's Alleged Male Catfisher Is Now Saying That The Former NBA Star Is Out To Kill Him

The retired shooting guard says the man is a "deranged individual."

Since the story about Ray Allen's alleged male catfisher first surfaced last week, the former NBA star's attorney has said it's nothing more than an extortion attempt while the man behind the alleged scheme claims he and Allen were gay lovers — something the two-time NBA champion vehemently denies.

That being said, in court documents recently obtained by TMZ Sports, the man accused of catfishing Allen claims the married former NBA All-Star is out to kill him.

In the court docs, as reported by TMZ, Bryant K. Coleman alleges that Allen called him on September 9, after he says their three-year relationship ended, and said that he wanted to "ensure that I went away and never opened my mouth again."

Coleman also claimed to have received a phone call from someone he believes was Allen threatening to strangle him. In addition, the court documents reveal that Coleman alleges that he recently spotted Allen with two armed men possibly to carry out a "more direct attack" on him.

Coleman, whose temporary restraining order request against Allen was granted by a Florida judge, added that Allen "said he wanted me to get what I deserved," even alleging that the former NBA shooting guard has "repeatedly spied on me by sending his associates to follow me in my community."

So, what does Allen have to say about these allegations?

"As with everything else related to Briant or Bryant Coleman, his petition for a restraining order was filled with lies, falsehoods and fantasies," Allen's attorney, David Markus, told TMZ. "He is a seriously deranged individual who Ray Allen has never met, never spoken with directly or threatened in any way. Coleman is the stalker here who is obsessed with Ray. Ray wants nothing to do with him and is exploring all legal options to stop him from continuing to harass and threaten him, his family and friends."

When this story first surfaced last week, TMZ reported that Allen claimed he was catfished by Coleman, who allegedly tricked the former NBA star into believing that he was speaking with women in online forums.

Allen, 42, has filed court documents of his own to ensure that private information he shared with Coleman isn't leaked.
