Future Has Some Words for Funkmaster Flex
Funkmaster Flex said some things on Hot 97 this week that got Future in his feelings. Reportedly, Flex thinks New York artists should get priority air play over the out-of-towners.
Being from Atlanta, Future didn’t exactly like the biased statement. Instead of raging against Flex, Future decided to thank him for the “motivation” and subsequently announced his Monster 2 mixtape. “Dropping so much heat u gone have to play my s**t 1st… that’s wat [sic] I’m going for,” he tweeted with a #Monster2 hashtag.
Future shouldn’t stress too hard over Flex’s comments anyway. He’s still a prominent name in Hot 97's current song rotation with other non-New Yorkers Drake, Kid Ink, Omarion, the Weeknd and Travi$ Scott.
