A$AP Rocky Reflects on Love, Family, and Full Circle Moments in W Magazine Cover Story
A$AP Rocky covers the latest issue of W Magazine, with the photos taken by his lady, Rihanna.
In the corresponding interview, the Harlem rapper shared when he realized Rihanna was "the one" for him. “I knew from when we were younger. We both did, I think. So it was only right when we got older. We just kind of reconnected,” he told the outlet.
While speaking on the full circle moment of shooting at New York’s Mercer Hotel, Rocky said, “This is very special because this is the first place she fell in love with me. Virgil Abloh shot the music video for 'Fashion Killa' in 2012, and that was the same couch where Rihanna and I sat in the first scene… That was that same room.”
Rocky and the singer, who share two children – Rza, 2, and Riot, 1, met in 2012. They maintained a friendship over the years before officially starting their romantic relationship seven years later.
Elsewhere during the conversation, the 36-year-old also spoke about the different personalities of his kids. “I think Rza is going to keep to himself. He's an introvert. Riot's an extrovert - he's just like his mom. Rza is more so like his dad, like me. And he's my twin,” Rocky continued. “He got his mom's forehead, but he got everything else from me. I love my boy's big forehead! I loved it on his mother. Listen to 'Jukebox Joints.'” This was a reference to this lyric from his 2015 single – “Ain't nothing better than the pretty, big forehead b**ch.”
