Young Thug Scraps Plan to Name His Mixtape Carter 6
Young Thug has hit a major bump in the road to releasing his new mixtape, Carter 6.
Thugga took to his Instagram account on Monday night to say he's renaming the title of the project to the Barter 6 because of a pending lawsuit.
"Can't name the mixtape Carter 6 because these f***-a*s n****s trying to sue just like some h**s," Thug said in an IG video post, before revealing Barter 6 as the new title.
This comes after Lil Wayne, who is known for his Carter series of albums with the Carter V due next, dissed Thugga on stage in Jackson, Miss., last week.
“I want ya’ll to do me a favor and quit listening to songs of n****s that pose naked on they motherf****n’ album cover,” Weezy told the crowd Friday night.
Despite the slight, Thug maintained that Weezy is his idol.
"I understand that Lil Wayne is frustrated about his career, and I feel him on that, but this is my idol," he said in a separate Instagram video Friday. "I wouldn't ever in my life swap words with him or beef with him about nothin'. This is a person that I look up to. Ha ha!"
