YG was shot Friday morning outside of a recording studio, according to a report by TMZ.

Sources tell TMZ that it happened in Studio City at approximately 1:45 a.m. The Compton rapper was shot three times in the hip.

In a report by the Los Angeles Daily News, Los Angeles police Sgt. Ernie Fisher found shell casings and blood at the scene of the crime. Fisher and police have not found a suspect yet.

Fisher says that YG was “very uncooperative” with police and refused to offer any information on the suspect or who drove him to the hospital.

50 Cent and Jeezy have both wished YG a speedy recovery.
