Miley Cyrus' Sister Apologizes To Candace Owens For Racist Comment
Noah Cyrus, Miley Cyrus’ younger sister, is apologizing for a racist remark she directed toward Candace Owens following the conservative personality’s comments about Harry Styles.
Styles covered Vogue last month wearing a dress, which Owens reacted to with a tweet that read, “Bring back manly men.”
Cyrus then went to her Instagram stories to post the cover photo of Styles with the caption, “He wears this dress better than any of u nappy ass heauxz.”
After getting major backlash on social media, Cyrus made a subsequent IG Story text post, reading, "I am mortified that I used a term without knowing the context and history, but I know now and I am horrified and truly sorry. I will never use it again. Thank you for educating me."
Styles also responded to Owens with another photo of himself in a powder blue suit, eating a banana, and captioned it with Candace’s own words.
Owens, who often gets attention for her trolling, claims she’s a conversation starter. "When people try to tell me I don’t have influence, and then [Styles] dedicates an entire post to my tweet," she subsequently wrote.
