ESPN's Sage Steele Is Getting Dragged After Criticizing #MuslimBan Protesters at LAX Airport for 'Disrupting Travel Plans'
Sage Steele tried it...and social media made sure she was destroyed in epic fashion.
Over the weekend, the host of ESPN's SportsCenter on the Road and ABC's NBA Countdown took to her Instagram account to comment about how protesters of Donald Trump's Muslim travel ban were actually "disrupting so many people's travel plans."
Wow, really!?
Needless to say, Sage's comments paved the way for her to be dragged to hell and back. Here's Steele's initial IG post and the slander she drew from it.
Sage Really Tried To Emphasize Disrupted Travel Plans Over The Protesters' Cause
And that was more than enough to set people off on social media, as the ESPN host was blasted left and right.
Fellow Sports Anchor Taylor Rooks Proceeded to Read Her Thoroughly and Sage Responded
Notice how she didn't answer Taylor's question.
Sounding Rather Privileged Aren't We, Sage?
Sigh. When someone privileged puts their inconvenience above the cause of this protest. Just...sigh.

And people tried to put things in perspective further
Just so you know and understand, Sage.
Why Didn't Sage Join The Protesters?
Boom!
And She Was Called A Coon
Take a stance like Sage did and people aren't going to hold back.

People wondered what Steele's employer, ESPN, had to say about this while others offered solutions
ESPN is a Disney-owned company. Think they care about her comments about this? If they do, the Worldwide Leader in Sports could always follow suit of that second tweet.
One person pointed out how Sage's comments did resonate with some
Is this the audience you were trying to attract?
Take Several Seats, Sage
That last part? Sheesh!

All the dragging prompted Sage to tweet this
Instead of retracting her statements, she simply pointed out how people are allowed to have a difference of opinions.
But Perhaps This Reaction Summed It All Up Best
Nothing left to say.
