What's in a name? That's the question being asked this week by a TMZ camera man who caught up with Ne-Yo at LAX. The inquisitive videographer joined the ranks of those who have been wondering why the R&B singer jacked Game's album title R.E.D. for his own upcoming project?
According to the "Ms. Independent" crooner, he chose the title not because he wanted to be a copycat but because the name was perfect for what he wanted to call his album.   
"No… I don't feel like I ripped off Game's album," Ne-Yo said. "Until Game comes up to me and says he has a problem with it, I don't care what people think."
Similarly, Game doesn't haven any issue with Ne-Yo using the name: "I've always known Ne-Yo to be a cool dude, so I'm pretty sure he got his reasoning," he said.
For Game, R.E.D. was short for "rededication" and signified his recommitment to hip hop. Ne-Yo states that in his case, R.E.D. is an acronym for Realizing Every Dream.
