Mariah Carey is known as the queen of the holiday season. Like clockwork, Mimi’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” comes back into rotation each December. Once the hype surrounding Christmas dies down, fans quickly prepare for MC’s annual New Year’s Eve performance. After receiving some questionable feedback after last year’s performance, it appeared as though Mimi had a lot of making up to do.

When Mariah Carey hit the stage at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve special, she had fans on pins and needles after she revealed that she didn’t receive the hot tea she was promised. This brought many fans and Twitter users alike, back to last year’s performance where she blamed technical issues for her interfering with her performance before leaving the stage. Luckily, Mariah was just kidding and went on to deliver stellar renditions of her singles, “Vision of Love,” and “Hero.”

Extremely pleased with Mariah’s performance, a slew of Twitter users congratulated the songstress for a job well done.
