T.I. Expresses His Thanks For Public Service Workers Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
Buildings and businesses are steadily going under lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. Furthermore, bars and restaurants were ordered to close down shop since the outbreak, and regrettably, the closings don’t appear to be letting up anytime soon.
As such, millions of Americans have been instructed to work from home as much as possible for the time being to limit the spread of infections. Despite the perilous times, people who hold public service jobs don't have the option of working from home, and put themselves at risk everyday by simply showing up to work. Honorably, these public workers have been diligently bearing the brunt of the coronavirus on their shoulders as healthcare workers, first responders, grocery and pharmacy clerks and more are at the front lines of defense against the coronavirus pandemic.
On Tuesday (March 24), T.I. took to social media to express his sincerest appreciation to the countless people who have been integral in keeping the country operating amid the spiraling crisis. In a thank-you note, Tip saluted everyone with a public-facing job, from grocery store clerks and truck drivers to farmers and sanitation workers.
“Sincerely,” he wrote with a praying hand emoji.
