The glitches that have rocked the Affordable Care Act's roll out are continuing to take a toll on President Obama's approval ratings. Week after week, in poll after poll, more Americans are questioning his credibility and leadership skills. As his numbers sink, opposition to the health care law grows.

In a CNN/ORC International survey released Monday, 53 percent of Americans said the president isn't honest or trustworthy, and they don't believe he's a strong and decisive leader. Sixty percent said he's unable to manage the government effectively. Although 71 percent said Obama is likable, 56 percent said they don't believe he's a person they admire.

"A lot of attention has focused on the president's numbers on honesty in new polling the past three weeks, but it looks like the recent controversy over Obamacare has had a bigger impact on his status as an effective manager of the government, and that may be what is really driving the drop in Obama's approval rating this fall," said CNN's polling director Keating Holland.

That picture changes when respondents are broken down by demographics. Among non-white respondents, 68 percent said the president is a strong and decisive leader; 67 percent said he's honest and trustworthy; and 63 percent said he's able to manage the government effectively.
