The former Disney star, 29, was found unresponsive and with gunshot wounds at his home on Monday morning. Young's colleagues at Rizzoli & Isles grew concerned when the actor failed to appear for work and called his landlord, who discovered his body.Young rose to fame as the star of Disney's The Famous Jett Jackson and went on to act in a number of television shows and several movies, including Akeelah and the Bee and Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story opposite Jamie Foxx.
TMZ also reports there was no suicide note, which confuses his friends and family because he had no apparent serious psychological issues.
