Charles Barkley has never been shy about sharing his opinion on various topics and he recently expressed his thoughts on Michael Jordan’s son dating Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife.

During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast “Club Shay Shay,” the NBA Hall of Famer discussed the complicated love affair between Marcus Jordan, 33, and Larsa Pippen, 49.

"I feel bad for Michael, I feel bad for Scottie. That is so messy. I don't like messy because when it's messy, everybody has an opinion on it,” Barkley told Sharpe during the interview. “And the internet isn't a place for messy. And you have to understand, it's a lot of kids involved. And people are mean. And it's unfortunate.”

In September 2022, rumors began about Marcus and Larsa being romantically involved after they were photographed out at dinner but they both denied the relationship at that time. 

After being together for over a year, Marcus and Larasa reportedly ended the relationship in February before Valentine’s Day.

In April, speculation about their relationship being reignited began to spread after they were spotted walking on the sand, holding hands in Miami Beach, Florida.

Their relationship has been of interest because Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were longtime teammates for more than a decade and won six NBA championships in the 90s with the Chicago Bulls.

"There are no winners. There's only losers," Barkley said. "Michael and Scottie's relationship will never be the same."

Barkley won an Olympic Gold medal with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen in 1992 as members of the USA Men’s Basketball team dubbed “The Dream Team.”
