Atlanta’s trap dignitary 2 Chainz is riding high on his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music wave and spoke of it during his appearance on Streetz Is Watchin for fans.

But, of course, hosts of the radio show couldn’t leave out a few nudging questions about his family fun day with the Wests, too, leading him to drop rather relieving gems on the status of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s brotherhood.

Showing up with his two adorable young daughters on his arm, 2 Chainz recounted the visit with Ye, revealing that Hov did, indeed, come up in the conversation they were having. He didn’t dish on too many details, but according to him, it’s safe to say that Kanye is still keeping a positive and sound mind with respect to his longtime friend and business partner.

“For the most part, [Kanye] was like, ‘We still brothers,’ and stuff like that,” he said. “He had a couple of things that was probably personal that he’d want me to keep, but we talked about the music climate right now.”

If you’ll recall, recent reports held that Yeezy split from Jay’s TIDAL music-streaming service as one of 16 other music superstar stakeholders. Neither party has released official statements on the reported legal matter as of yet, however, so it’s somewhat a relief to hear that Ye is apparently still in good graces with Hov despite all of the speculation.

The College Park native added that L.A. Reid dropped in on the visit as well. For the rest of the interview, 2 Chainz spoke of his blazing pink trap house success, which is unfortunately closing for new tenants, and several of its attractions, such as a trap salon, trap church and free HIV-testing facilitation.
