Shiggy Pulled Up On Drake For His $250K, And You Will Cry Laughing At His Reaction
It goes without saying that Drake owes much of the success behind his bouncy, streaming record-breaking, chart-topping “In My Feelings” single to the man behind the song’s internet-sweeping, viral dance challenge sensation, Shiggy.
Some false reports claimed that Drizzy might owe a little more than that, though—$250,000 more, actually. And the Instagram comedy star hilariously ran up on the Champagne Papi to collect what’s rightfully his (or, at least, what the faux rumors said belongs to him).
Several blogs alleged that the Scorpion rapper thanked Shiggy for igniting the #InMyFeelingsChallenge and helping the single soar to a No. 1 seat on the Billboard Hot 100
But, Shiggy quickly shut the rumors down on an Instagram Live session
In only a way that a famed Instagram humorist would, Shiggy sarcastically announced that he “just found out he made $250,000.” He’d only found out about the bogus rumor that the blogs ran after it made its way back to him on none other than social media. “N**gas is telling stories on me, man, I ain’t make no $250,000. What kind of sh** is going on?”
Presumably, the fake news was sparked by a photo of Shiggy and Drake outside of the club when they finally ran into each other
He then requested that the blogs take the rumor down. Besides, Shiggy added, do people actually think Drizzy’s walking around with that type of cash, anyway? “How the f**k he going give me $250,000 in the club? What, you think he walking around with a checkbook…in the club?”

But since the rumor was already out there, Shiggy figured he might as well pull up on the Champagne Papi for his $250,000 anyway
And in another Shiggy Show skit, featuring Drake the debtor himself, the comedy sensation hilariously pressed the Toronto rapper out about the check. Drake’s excuse? Well, you know, wire transfers, and Universal Records delays, and international bank processes, and all of that stuff can take a little time. But Shiggy isn’t hearing any of it until Drizzy, Kiki, Universal— somebody—runs him his check.
