Pusha T Finally Responds to Drake's 'Two Birds One Stone' Diss

"Listen. I'm not speaking to him."

In case you ever want to find yourself getting under the skin of Virginia-bred rap heavyweight Pusha T, make sure it doesn’t involve a diss track.

And more specifically, not one that questions his former drug-dealing days because, according to his Complex interview, “it ain’t real if it’s about him.”

If you recall, King Push and OVO’s champ in charge, Drake, went lyrical blow-to-blow with each other after the “Drug Dealers Anonymous” rapper baited in a diss from Drizzy with “H.G.T.V.” In normal response fashion, Drake bucked back with “Two Birds, One Stone,” a highly controversial track due, in part, to its shot at Kid Cudi’s recent mental health woes.

“But really it's you with all the drug dealer stories that's gotta stop though,” Drizzy jabbed at King Push on the track. “You made a couple chops and now you think you Chapo.”

While a shot at such a sensitive past for Pusha could have ignited a more vicious response from him, he was surprisingly unbothered at Drizzy’s claims.

“I would never, ever attribute that to myself,” he said. “My past is cemented. My past happened. Like slavery happened. The Holocaust happened. You can’t ever question anything that has actually happened.”

Regardless of what “actually happened,” it’s no question that Drizzy felt compelled to rebut after Pusha’s “H.G.T.V.” commentary on the “Hotline Bling’s” ghostwriting controversy. Though Drake never openly responded to the rumors, it was obviously another strike in the brewing tension among the two.

“Listen. I’m not speaking to him,” Pusha said. “I’m telling you, the real of it is: It ain’t real if it’s about me.”
