Pharrell Explains that Suspicious Black Eye
Jay Z had nothing to do with it.
Pharrell’s black eye has nothing to do with Jay Z, contrary to what Internet rumors would have you believe. P’s shiner made its red carpet debut earlier this week, sparking reports that Hov punched him in the face.
Their alleged fight was because Pharrell chose an Apple Music deal over Tidal. The story couldn’t be further from the truth, TMZ reports.
P and his wife, Helen, were “joking around in the kitchen” when he caught a spatula to the face. It apparently “flipped up” and hit him in the eye.
The kitchen can be a dangerous place.
