Yikes: Porsha Williams' Fiancé Accused Of Domestic Violence And Scamming Ex-Girlfriend In Business Deal
Dennis McKinley, Porsha Williams' fiancé and the father of her child, is reportedly in some hot water, legally, as the daughter of his alleged ex-girlfriend and baby's mother is reportedly putting him on blast for a slew of offenses, including domestic abuse.
According to Radar Online, McKinley is being accused of stealing his ex Shanise Thomason's company after evicting her and physically abusing her during the course of their relationship.
The site "exclusively revealed" that McKinley, who is currently the owner of Queen Virgin Remy hair company, was previously involved in a messy legal battle with Thomason before evicting her from their then-shared home.
Court documents obtained from the Northern District of Georgia stated that McKinley sued Thomason for "trademark infringement, conversion and other wrongful acts" in relation to his Queen Virgin Remy company.
The site went on to explain that McKinley accused Thomason, who he claimed had "no ownership rights or interests in Queen Virgin Remy," of stealing inventory from the business in Columbus, Georgia, on February 9, 2015.
The complaint stated that she entered the store "with a large black trash bag" before specifying that she "walked behind the front counter of the store and opened the door to the store's stock room."
McKinley claimed Thomason stole $5,900 worth of product, which was reportedly 67 percent of the establishment's inventory. He claimed he is yet to see a return in this investment that she allegedly stole.
Thomason, however, fired back in a police report. However, McKinley claimed she evaded arrest by saying she "shared ownership" of the business. She later turned herself in on February 25, 2015 and was charged with shoplifting.
Further in the tug-of-war of their legal battle, McKinley asked the court to grant him a temporary restraining order to prevent "continuation of wrongful conduct," and his request was granted. Thomason, however, rebutted, stating she is co-owner of Queen Virgin Remy and was, thus, entitled to use the trademark.
Her counterclaim went on to state that they met when McKinley was "selling hair from the back of a vehicle through Craigslist."
Making matters worse, theJasmineBRAND.com reports that, following news of the lawsuit, a woman claiming to be Thomason's daughter, came forward, posting a lengthy statement on Instagram accusing McKinley of allegedly physically abusing her mother.
"I have been quiet the whole time McKinley since my mom @hairbyaoki has been in this lawsuit with u but u will not lie & make her look bad," she wrote. "All this fakeness to get on tv. You ain't nothing but a fraud, crook & a thief. U out [here] holding Porsha stomach in pics but the whole time my mom was pregnant by u..u jumped on her & beat on her am I lying McKinley?"
Neither Porsha nor her future husband have spoken out about the allegations made against him.
