Dr. Dre: Cuba Is the Next Place I'd Like to Perform
Hip hop veteran and entrepreneur Dr. Dre may have his next big move in the works. The rapper teased about performing in Cuba in wake of its potential opening.
Above a photo of him standing at the balcony of a private yacht, riding along what appears to be the waters of Cuba, Dre tweeted, "I'm excited about the potential opening of Cuba. The next time I perform THIS is where I'd like to be #thenextepisode."
The United States had a meeting with Cuba in late 2014 marking the first time Raul Castro had dealings with America in decades. The tone of the meeting indicated that good things could be on the horizon between both nations.
With a net worth boasting nearly $800 million and holding an executive position at Apple, Dr. Dre has the makings of a game changer in all things business and music.
Fellow music heavyweights Beyoncé and Jay Z made headlines a year ago after vacationing in the Caribbean island.
