Chris Paul is known for dishing assists on the court for the Los Angeles Clippers.

But the nine-time NBA All-Star point guard might be leading the league in off-the-court assists, too.

CP3 and his wife, Jada Paul, recently teamed up to host their 5th Annual Prom Dress Giveaway on behalf of The Chris Paul Family Foundation. The event had them giving 100 girls designer prom dresses in addition to shoes, accessories and more based on their resources and needs. 

The effort has expanded beyond Paul and his wife, too, as the NBA superstar's mom and sister-in-law also helped offer girls dresses from designers such as BCBGMaxazria, Karoza Bridal and Windsor Fashion, shoes from the likes of Steve Madden and beauty and hair supplies from Mixed Chicks, Stila Cosmetics and Honest Beauty. 

BET.com obtained this exclusive video from CelebsWork Los Angeles showing how the Pauls treated these ladies just in time for prom season.

The giveaway was actually the brainchild of Jada.

"I've been fortunate over the years to do so many things that's male-driven, whether it's basketball camps or some of the talks that I've had with young men about different things," Chris says in the clip. "And so having a wife with some passions of her own, who thinks about what it's like to be a young lady in high school and middle school and for her to have this vision and see it all come together is pretty special."

Added Jada, "If you could help one person or change one person's smile or influence them to help someone else, it starts a chain reaction. So, it's a small part to a bigger picture."

Credit the Pauls for the assist. This takes having relationship goals to another level.
