Simone Biles Reveals Family Plans with Husband Jonathan Owens
Olympic Gold medalist Simone Biles has amassed an array of titles throughout her illustrious career, but she’s got her sights set on adding "mom" to that list someday.
In a heart-to-heart with Today’s Hoda Kotb on Tuesday (August 6), the 27-year-old gymnast revealed that she and her husband, Jonathan Owens, are already dreaming about expanding their family, sharing that she and the Chicago Bears player “always talk about kids.”
The superstar went on to say that Owens is so eager to start a family, “he would have them, like, yesterday if he could have.”
Biles explained, “Obviously, we both have goals that we want to achieve before we start a family. But yes, that’s definitely in our future.” When Kotb asked if she sees herself as a mom, Biles confidently responded, “Yes, most definitely.”
Biles and Owens met in March 2020, and the couple married on April 22, 2023, at the Harris County Courthouse in Houston. Shortly after, they celebrated with a second wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Recently, the football player was spotted cheering on Biles as she and Team USA clinched gold at the 2024 Olympics women’s gymnastics team finals, solidifying Biles’ status as the most decorated gymnast of all time.
