On Saturday (October 7), Toni Braxton celebrated her 56th birthday and a day later bookmarked that occasion with a head-turning snap that has us all swooning. In the image, the R&B singer showed off her angles in a sizzling hot photo that she shared with her social media community on Instagram, as reported by PEOPLE.

“In my birthday suit…” she captioned the photo.

In the image, the "Un-Break My Heart" hitmaker is breaking hearts and playing off of the color black.

While posing in front of a black wall, the singer appears to be wearing a black robe that she gently grasps as it cascades from her caramel complexion. She serves up a smoldering gaze at the camera lens; one hand is wrapped around her chest while she rests the other on her leg. She finished the look with her iconic pixie cut and a black manicure.

This birthday is notable for her following an urgent medical development last year.

Back in September 2022, Braxton was hospitalized to unblock the main artery in her heart due to her systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). In April, she opened up about her condition with PEOPLE.

"I kept putting it off thinking, 'Oh, I'm fine. I'll be okay.' But my doctor was persistent and I went to get tested in the last week of September. I did a specialized test and they looked at my heart and saw some abnormalities," she told the outlet. "I found out that I needed a coronary stent. My left main coronary artery was 80% blocked. The doctors told me I could've had a massive heart attack, I would not have survived."

Earlier this month, Braxton attended the Walk to End Lupus event in Downtown Los Angeles to fund lupus research, increase lupus awareness, and rally public support for the estimated 1.5 million Americans who suffer from the disease.
