Breast Cancer Awareness: 6 Must-Have Brands to Buy from This Month
October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a global campaign focused on raising awareness and funds for research, early detection, and treatment of breast cancer. According to breastcancer.org, each year, about 30% of all new cancer cases in women are breast cancer, with approximately 310,720 women expected to be diagnosed in 2024. Early detection is key, as 66% of cases are caught at a localized stage. Many of the world’s most recognizable brands show their support through special collections, donating proceeds to help those affected by the disease. This movement gained momentum in 1993 when Evelyn Lauder of Estée Lauder founded the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and popularized the pink ribbon as its symbol.
Here are six brands you can shop from to support breast cancer awareness this month.

For 2024, Ralph Lauren continues its dedication to breast cancer awareness with the Pink Pony Collection, offering a refreshed black and pink palette to appeal to younger consumers. This year's collection, which launched on Sept. 26, includes a collaboration with Bala, alongside a range of stylish apparel. Ralph Lauren will donate 100% of proceeds from key items like the Pink Pony Twill Ball Cap and Pink Pony Cashmere Hoodie, and 25% from other collection pieces, to the Pink Pony Fund and global cancer charities.
