Miles could be seen in a split screen with Rihanna during parts of the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show that aired on Fox. She was also on the field at State Farm Stadium in Glendale during the pregame show, where she signed during Sheryl Lee Ralph’s performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

During a press conference a week prior to the halftime show, Miles relayed how significant the performance would be.

"Not only for me to share this experience with the whole world," she said, according to ABC News, "but to really bring that empowerment to millions and millions of Black deaf people all over the country who've never really seen that before. I feel that is truly lifting every voice, even my voice."

Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime performance overall was quite the spectacle. In her first public performance in five years, she opened up the show with “B***h Better Have My Money” while floating on a translucent platform. That was then followed by “Where Have You Been,” “Only Girl (In the World).”  “We Found Love,” “Rude Boy,” “Work,” “Wild Thoughts,” “Pour It Up,” “Umbrella,” “Diamonds,” and many other classics.
