Watch Tamar Speak Out In First Television Interview Since Her Divorce Announcement
Last month it was reported that after nearly nine years of marriage, Tamar Braxton filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert. Since then, she has only spoken out on social media, but to promote the reality show Tamar & Vince, she is officially back in the public eye.
To find out why Tamar won't appear on "The Wendy Williams Show," watch the video above.
Talking to a local news station, Tamar says, "We've been married almost nine years and it's not all biscuits and gravy every day." The anchors also noted Vince was not with her for the interview, which he usually is. Tamar explained, "Nothing is definitely for publicity. I would never sell my soul to the devil for a publicity stunt. I have no reason to do that." She also added it's difficult for her son, Logan. "It's difficult because he's been raised to be accustomed to a certain lifestyle with both of his parents."

Rumors of marital issues were swirling for over a year, especially after police were called to an Atlanta hotel because Vincent allegedly assaulted Tamar in August of 2016. Her mother, Evelyn Braxton, recently confirmed Vince did abuse Tamar.
Season five of Tamar & Vince airs Thursdays on WE tv.
