Ever since Nicki Minaj burst onto the hip hop scene, it seems like every other female MC has really just been playing for the silver medal. But with her latest mixtape, Nutty World, and a team of dope producers behind her, Chi-Town rhymer Sasha Go Hard might just be ready to make a run for the crown.

Nutty World, which is hosted by DJ Victoriouz, might just be the slept-on mixtape of the year, and could even rival a number of 2013's chart-topping albums. On it, Sasha raps with a fire in her belly to compliment her rapid-fire delivery, leaving no doubt that she can go head-to-head with any MC, man or woman (and they should watch out 'cause she just might).

The 11-track opus foregoes the intro and gets right into the proceedings with "Go So Hard," which serves as her hard-hitting proclamation that money is the mission and no one is stopping that.

Sasha's got her swag on full as she blazes the SkillzontheBeat-produced "Spaz Out." "All this f---in' money got me swagged out/Show up at a show ya n---- pass out," she declares.

On "Throwin' Bandz," the fiery femcee offers her take on a male dominated topic of throwing dollars in the strip club. And she gets "bawse-y" on "I'm the Type," which channels her inner Ricky Rozay over the Young Haz-produced banger.

And her native Chicagoans might not like the title of the track "Rondo," but, as she explained on "Real N----s," real recognize real. "I'd rather chase a Ben than look stupid chasin' men/F--- these b-----s, they not friends/Tried to snake me, that's the end/that's my plan, that's my word/if you hurt me, then you hurt/Why lose when I put in work?"

Mattie Baybee shines as one of only two guest appearances on Nutty World (and even takes a small swipe at Hov), rhyming, "Ball like he's K.D./'Bout my guap so just pay me/I got fans don't like AC/My gold chains is 'ver-say-chee'/I got bands call me K.D./My money old like Jay Z/Try to 'G' me, leave you singing like JoJo & K-Ci."

The other features come by way of fellow Chicago standout Rockie Fresh, who put his stamp on "Keep It 100," Sasha's ode to the Ben Franklin.

It's not all turnt up, though. "Own Lane" tones it down just enough for Sasha to give the fans something personal. "They used to try to f--- me to get on a song/Now that I'm on, they buzz is gone/Still I got f---ed for songs/That's real s--- but I live with it/This rap s---, I'll kill for it, I'll deal with it," she rapped over the piano-driven track.

Credit for this five-star mixtape also has to go to her production stars in the making, Young Haz and Tony Roche, who came with some serious heat (Roche especially, as he delivered a good dose of ratchet via "Salutin'" and "Give No F---"), making it much easier for Sasha to shine, showing her ability to rock various tempos.

With all the already notable male talent from the Chi, Sasha Go Hard reps the Midwest and reps it strong. While she has yet to prove her commercial viability with a undeniable Top 40-sounding song, all of the other pieces are in place for a successful and lucrative future ahead.
