Shots Fired At Webbie Show

Security guard shot in St. Louis club early Sunday (April 3) morning.

A Webbie show didn't end peacefully for a security guard who was left wounded after a gun went off inside a St. Louis nightclub on Sunday (April 3) morning. The Louisiana rapper had just finished performing at Blackmon's Plaza on the East side of St. Louis when the incident occurred.

According to allhiphop.com, in an attempt to control the crowd, one security guard used his pistol to strike one of the guys in the fight when the gun went off striking the other guard by accident. 40 state police officers were said to have arrived on the scene afterwards, responding to calls that fights were happening both inside and outside of the club.

There was no word on what started the melee at the club. Neither Webbie or anyone in his entourage was injured during the fighting.
