Meghan Markle Will Be Involved In A Huge Project Involving Queen Elizabeth
Meghan Markle has a history of being in front of a camera, and now she’ll return to a similar spotlight in assisting Queen Elizabeth with a project.
According to People, the newly crowned Duchess of Sussex is slated to take part in a major new documentary series for the first time since attaining her royal role.
Markle and husband Prince Harry, along with other members of the royal family, will be featured in a film about the Queen and the Commonwealth -- a family of nations linked to the United Kingdom. It’s called Queen of the World.
The project, which will air over two parts on ITV next month, will feature Markle taking part in “a conversation” and “a stand-up chat.”
Behind-the-scenes moments involving Meghan, Harry, Prince Charles and Prince William, among others are also slated to be included.
Queen of the World will air in September, prior to Meghan and Harry’s trip to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga – their first official tour of Commonwealth nations.
“As the family and world leaders discuss the importance of the Commonwealth to the Queen, the series will document the way in which she passes her knowledge and experience to the younger generations,” an ITV statement claims.
