According to several reports, including that of TMZ and the NY Daily News, the brother of DJ Khaled’s fiancée, Nicole Tuck, succumbed to a fatal gunshot to the face on Sunday (February 4) in a drug deal gone bad.

The Daily News reports that Jonathan Tuck, Nicole’s younger brother, was purchasing marijuana during the exchange in a Bronx apartment close to his home. The 25-year-old was then shot in the face and later died after being rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital. TMZ adds that the attack happened in the midst of an argument between him and another individual, though it is not clear who the disagreement was with nor what sparked the altercation.

The site also reports police sources shared that a 34-year-old male has been taken into custody for questioning. Daily News, however, spoke to Tuck’s closest friends and associates, who also shared words on his untimely death.

"He's a good guy,” Daily News reports of a statement from Tuck’s longtime friend, Brandon Davis. “He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. There was no reason for him to be there.”

Daily News concludes that Nicole Tuck has not yet addressed the reported death of her brother, but sources close to the family shared that she and her mother rushed to the Bronx upon news of the shooting.
